Requirements for working in Gabon.

Working in Gabon requires a VISA. That VISA should be granted by the company that employs you as a worker in Gabon, by addressing to the DGDI (the General Service of Immigration and Information), and you should have a valid passport.

The visa delivered in the first time enable you to live in Gabon 3 months, and for any extension request, you should address to the General Service of Immigration and Information one month after arriving in Gabon. In fact, beyond the 3 months, you need a Resident Card. But the validity of the Resident Card varies according to the nationality of the Resident.

Incubation space by the JA Gabon

A network of sectorial incubation space inspired by national JA Gabon. The policy of entrepreneurship at the national scale and the mission of the national incubator of fostering young entrepreneurs for offering better support and possible supervision or they can tackle a new step.

The spreading of an incubator meshing in the country, respond to the necessary repartition of the diversification of the economy on the area.

Those incubation spaces labelled the JA Gabon include an entrepreneurship and employability to enable to young people to develop their softs-skills and project in the sector chosen.

Incubation space in Libreville

(Opening in January 2018)

This space of incubation is devoted to the innovation (multisector). The objective of the incubation space is to assist 15 young less than 35 years old, in order to develop innovative services and products through the startup program.

The participant will be assisted by the top management mentors in Gabon and technical experts throughout the course. The assistance lasts almost two years and it is financed by International labor organization, UGB, CPG Foundation, BICIG and Canal+.

Incubation space in Mouila

(Opening in November 2017)

This incubation space dedicated to farming is supported by the Lycée Technique of Mouila. It has a triple objective: training children who have drop out of school system to the farming technics, to entrepreneurship (ITS TYME Program) and employability (Career Success) for one year, in alternation, the 100 participants from 16-25 years will follow a theoric and practical training in business and will be able to set up a project. The project will be financed by the European Union in the context of the 10th FED and by Olam.

Incubation space in Port-Gentil

(Opening in November 2017)

This incubation space dedicated to oil sector is supported by the Professional Center of Specialization (CSP) of POG. It has a triple objective: training children who have drop out of school system to the career of petrol pump technics, to industrial mechanics and regulation /instrumentation but also to entrepreneurship (ITS TYME Program) and employability (Career Success). During one year with alternation, the 100 participants from 16-25 years will follow a theoric and practical training in business and will be able to set up a project. The project will be financed by the European Union in the context of the 10th FED, by TOTAL Gabon and the GOC, in partnership with the main actors of the sector.

Incubation space of the Wood cluster in the Special Economic Zone

(Ouverture 1er trimestre 2018)

This incubation space dedicated to the wood sector is supported by cluster of wood in the Special Economic Zone of NKOK. It has a triple objective: specializing skilled youth in that sector in the paths of finished wooden objects and of conception / design on 3D printing as well in entrepreneurship (ITS TYME program) and to the employability (Career success). For one year in alternation, the20 participants from 16- 25 years will follow a theoretical and practical training in enterprise and they will be able to set a project in the same time. The project is financed by the BAD (African Development Bank) via ANPI (National Agency for Investment and Promotion)

Small Businesses Space

(Opended since November 2016)

The Small Business Space is located in Libreville, in the Ministry of Small Business, National Entrepreneurship and for the Youth insertion. It occupies a surface of 650m2 entirely dedicated to start up promotors, and to the Small Business promotors. It has a mission of creating a convivial and professional meeting space, to reinforce capacity building of entrepreneurs and to create an exchange meeting space. Each month it proposes breakfast with decision makers, the speed-dating between members and banks, renting rooms and working spaces at a shipper cost and training.

The Small Businesses Space/ JA Gabon are launching a new program, the entrepreneurship career paths, designed for many entrepreneurs according to their advancement level of their project or enterprise. At the end of a discussion of orientation with one of the responsible of JA Gabon or the Small Business space, the entrepreneur is oriented towards the 5-career program.

Each career is punctuated by master-class weekly organized for a period of 2 to 3 months and followed in parallel, individual coaching sessions with sectorial experts in the various fields as well as your needs.

According to the rhythm of master-class coaching sessions, the entrepreneur makes progressing his idea, or his project in integrating a vast network of entrepreneurs with various profiles on one hand and taking advantage of the professional experience of the different jobs of an organization.

START-UP WEEK END

Startup is an incubation program consisting in supporting creativity and the innovative system by offering an opportunity to young researcher students who have potential research ideas or works of business startup, in order to transform their ideas and their works in realistic projects. The program assists project holders by a multiform support: capacity building, logistics, advice, expertise, accommodation and individual coaching that will allow them to step to the project (business model/business plan) to the modelling of their activities, when launching the business effectively.
