1 Obtaining a visa issued
in the country of origin

It must be requested from the Gabonese diplomatic and consular representations. The list of documents to be provided is communicated by the consulate. Only original documents are accepted. These may be required upon arrival in Gabon by the officers of the Air and Border Police.

The application and the issuance of visa of entry in Gabon for the nationals of the G20 countries and those countries
members of the Council of Cooperation of the Gulf (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Chad and Equatorial Guinea), will be on the arrival , at the approved international crossing points, with the Services in charge of Immigration.

Holders of a passport valid for at least three months belonging to the G20 and CEMAC (Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa) are no longer subject to the visa of entry into Gabon for any stay not exceeding three months (90 days)

It should be noted that a visa issued in the country of origin does not give right of automatic entry to the extent that the Gabonese border police can carry out a control and decide not to let in a person for lack of appropriate documentation

The visitor must present a copy of the application upon boarding from the airport. It is then exchanged, on arrival in Gabon, against the entry permit.
In the same way as for visas issued in the country of origin, it is recommended, for entry permits, that local respondents (families or companies) be present at the airport, when the expected persons arrive, provided with the original documents of the file, in the case where they could not be sent to them before their departure

When crossing the border by air, sea or by land, it is necessary to present, in addition to the copy of the application for authorization of entry, a valid passport, a public transport ticket. return or circular nominative and a vaccination book (yellow fever mandatory). It is necessary to bring 45,000 CFA francs (70 €), corresponding to the cost of establishing the entry authorization. This procedure applies to nationals, whether tourists, businessmen or visitors.
